The pavement on this section of WIS 69, between Bushnell Creek in the Town of Monroe and Cow Path Lane in New Glarus, is deteriorating with extensive cracking.

Improvements include:

• Install centerline and shoulder rumble strips
• Add new pavement markings
• Replace deteriorating culverts
• Replace guardrail
• Addition of southbound left-turn lanes at Wittenwyler Road and Cemetery Road
• Addition of a single-lane roundabout at County C/Urban Road
• WIS 69 bridge over the Little Sugar River in Monticello will be repaired, including a deck replacement
