10/20/2026 Project Update:

• The pavement marking crew has recently completed side road painting between Eagle and North Prairie.
• The gravel shouldering work has also been completed between Eagle and North Prairie.
• The final segment of guardrail was installed in Eagle by Sherman Street.
• Punchlist items will continue to be worked on over the next couple of weeks.

Work will begin next week Tuesday, October 27^th on the manholes in North Prairie.  To improve the ride quality and to ensure the manholes do not settle over time, they will be cored out of the asphalt and reset flush to the surface in concrete.  This work is expected to take 3 days to complete.  Manholes that are located in the drive lane will be protected overnight with a steel road plate.  Since the contractor will need to work in either the westbound or eastbound lane of WIS 59, this work will be done under flagging.  This work is very weather dependent.

The project strongly suggests drivers use alternate routes when the contractor is working in North Prairie.   

Expect long waits at flaggers if you drive through the work zone in North Prairie. 

Once the manhole reset work is complete it is anticipated the project will be substantially complete with no further traffic control expected.
