March 11:

Stage 2 road construction work has begun on the US 45 (Lovers Lane) reconstruction project from Rawson Avenue to College Avenue in Franklin.

• All traffic has been moved to the northbound lanes while the southbound lanes are reconstructed in spring/summer. US 45 will remain open to traffic throughout construction. Access to the west side roads will be maintained throughout construction.
• The exit ramp to Rawson Avenue will be closed for the foreseeable future. WIS 100 southbound traffic should use W. Forest Home Avenue to reach Rawson Avenue.
• Prairiewood Lane will be closed starting 3/12/2024, for approximately 2 weeks. Traffic will be redirected to the W Cortez Road opening. The temporary mailbox bank is to remain at Prairiewood Lane throughout stage 2 construction for residents on the west side of US 45.
