Stage 5 road construction work began March 31^st on the US 45 (Lovers Lane) reconstruction project from Rawson Avenue to College Avenue in Franklin. US 45 will remain open to traffic throughout construction.

Traffic Updates – Week of 05/19/2025:

• Beginning Monday, May 19^th, all northbound and southbound traffic on Lovers Lane will be moved to one inside lane in each direction. The outside lanes will be closed to complete landscaping and permanent pavement markings.
  • Existing turn lanes at Speedway Drive and temporary turn lanes at the remaining side roads will be made available.
  • This closure is estimated to last until June 1^st, weather permitting.
  • After this closure, the roadway will be open to all lanes of traffic.
