Stage 3 road construction work began on Wednesday, July 31, on the US 45 (Lovers Lane) reconstruction project from Rawson Avenue to College Avenue in Franklin. Stage 3 will move all traffic to the southbound lanes while the northbound lanes are reconstructed during summer/fall. US 45 will remain open to traffic throughout construction.

Traffic Updates – Week of 11/11/2024 – Lovers Lane mainline northbound paving:

• Beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 14^th, mainline paving operations will resume. It is anticipated that paving will take 4-5 days to complete. Intermittent side road closures will be needed as crews pave through intersections. Paving is to begin on the north end and work south. VENTURE DRIVE AND WHITNALL EDGE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE MORNING HOURS. Please use Cortez Circle or Garden Plaza to access Speedway Drive during this time. Intermittent side road closures will be needed as crews pave through intersections. Please be aware of flaggers near the paving equipment. These paving closures will last into next week, weather permitting.
• The East Frontage Road will be paved at a later date following the retaining wall construction.
