Anticipated work scheduled: Crews will:

• Repair concrete surface on the abutments
• Complete the surface treatment on parapets and new overlay
• Remove existing guardrail and curb
• Complete culvert pipes for drains
• Stake curb and gutter
• Install new curb and gutter

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• The WIS 86 bridge over US 51 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured north on US 51, west on County A, south on US 51 back to WIS 86 westbound. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south on US 51, east on County S, north on US 51 back to WIS 86 eastbound.
• A shoulder closure on southbound US 51 may be required early next week to strip full depth repair forms from the underside of the bridge.
