Traffic impacts

WIS 82 from the Kickapoo River to WIS 131 (S. State Street), in the Village of La Farge, will be open to through traffic and constructed using flagging operations.

The deck overlay on the bridge over the Kickapoo River just west of the Village of La Farge will utilize temporary traffic signals and a one-lane roadway to maintain traffic on WIS 82.

WIS 82 from WIS 131 (S. State Street) to WIS 33 will be closed to through traffic during construction.

• Detour: WIS 131, WIS 56 and WIS 80
• Short-term full closures (anticipated to be less than one week) of N Maple St, N Elm St, N Oak St, and N Cherry St are anticipated to replace the curb ramps and make other improvements. The side road closures are anticipated to be completed one intersection at a time.
• A short-term full closure (anticipated to be approximately one week) and a short-term single lane road with a stop sign are anticipated for WIS 82 to replace the culvert pipe under WIS 82 just east of N Elm St.
