To best serve the businesses and residents in the area according to their needs, this project has been broken up into various construction stages throughout construction.

2020 Work

• During the first phase, WIS 59 will be closed to through traffic from Rice Street to the roundabout. Crews are finishing sanitary and storm sewer work in this section, and then will proceed with pavement work.
• Once the above section is finished, crews will resume work along WIS 59 between the roundabout and US 12. During this work, this section of WIS 59 will be closed to through traffic.
• Access will remain open to all businesses and property owners in the area.
  • Local traffic looking to access businesses and properties along the project in 2020 can expect to encounter flagging operations, temporary road closures, and temporary driveway closures. These will be necessary during parts of the construction process. WisDOT will contact homeowners and businesses in advance before closing a driveway.
