Anticipated work scheduled: Crews will:

• Place base aggregate at the median shoulders in both directions in rural areas
• Remove all traffic control items for the median lane closures

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• The median lanes in the eastbound and westbound directions on WIS 54 are closed to traffic from 26th Street North in Wisconsin Rapids to Bus 51/Post Road in Plover.
  • Lane closures will be removed by noon Thursday, July 2, for the holiday weekend. Driving lane closures in each direction will be put in place beginning on Monday, July 6, at 6 am.
