Traffic impacts

WIS 19 Traffic Update:

  • The traffic switch to the north side of WIS 19 at Marshall Road continues to move traffic through efficiently.
  • The temporary lanes have a maximum width of 11 feet, so no wide loads can be accommodated.
  • Marshall Road south of WIS 19 is currently closed for reconstruction.
  • The Marshall Road reconstruction is anticipated to be complete and reopened on Monday, 4/27/2026. (Weather permitting)
  • Nord Drive is open to all traffic and will not be impacted by construction.
  • The south half of Division Street is anticipated to be closed for construction early in the week of 4/27/2026.
  • This will follow the opening of Marshall Drive.

 

Construction Activities This Week:

  • Progress was slow this week due to all the inclement weather. Crews were able to remove the pavement on Marshall Drive and WIS 19.
  • Concrete crews poured the new curb and gutter on Marshall Drive this morning.

 

Construction Activities for the week of April 20th:

  • Crews will finish the remaining excavation of the WIS 19 mainline (In the Marshall Drive area).
  • The prime contractor will continue to place the base aggregate for the WIS 19 mainline.
  • The Marshall Drive and WIS 19 mainline new asphaltic pavement is now scheduled to begin Friday, 4/24/2026.
  • The reconstruction of the south half of Division Street will take place after Marshall Drive is reopened.
  • The traffic switch and the closure of the south half of Division is currently scheduled for Tuesday, 4/28/2026. (Weather permitting)
  • The temporary traffic signals at Division Street will be adjusted to accommodate the closure at that time.
