Traffic Impacts
Construction will be broken up in the following stages:
- During stage 1, WIS 178 and side roads will remain open to traffic with shoulder closures being utilized during traffic signal installation.
- During stage 2, side road approaches at the WIS 178/Cashman Drive intersection will be closed to traffic, and local traffic will use the WIS 178/Olson Drive intersection, and temporary pedestrian facilities will be used for the shared-use path on the west side of the WIS 178/Cashman Drive intersection.
- During stage 3, WIS 178 and side roads will remain open to traffic with single-lane closures on WIS 178.
Access to the Old Abe State Trail will be maintained throughout construction using temporary accommodations.
