The project will replace the existing pavement of WIS 113 from WIS 78 to Mound Street in City of Baraboo. A horizontal curve has been identified as a safety issue and the curve will be reconstructed to a safer radius. All beam guard within the project limits will be replaced.

Impact to Devil’s Lake State Park

The project will reconstruct and realign a curve through Devil’s Lake State Park. The project will convert 0.239 acres of park land into permanent highway easement for the purpose of installing and maintaining highway ditches and culvert pipes under the highway. An additional 0.030 acres of the park land along WIS 113 is temporarily used to construct the curve.
