During construction, US 8 will remain open to traffic.

• Initially, US 8 will be restricted to a single lane of traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals as the temporary bypass is built.
• Once the bypass is completed, US 8 will close, and traffic will use the single-lane bypass to get around the work zone.
