US 53 is fully open for the holiday weekend, but:

• Motorists will encounter single-lane closures on northbound US 53 from the south project limits to County B and on southbound US 53 from County S to the Chippewa River Bridge once work resumes after the holiday.
  • The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph where there are lane closures.
• The ramps at the US 53/Business 29/County X interchange will be closed June 1 and 2.
