Schedule: April 6 to June 18, 2026 and Sept. 8 to Oct. 9, 2026

Anticipated work scheduled: : Crews will:

• Remove and pour concrete curb and sidewalk at various locations on north bound and south bound US 51
• Reinstall brick pavers on sidewalk
• Place topsoil, seed and erosion materials in areas along the sidewalk

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• The northbound US 51 driving lane will be closed from the Minocqua Bridge to Front Street.
• Southbound US 51 passing lane will be closed from Front Street to the Minocqua Bridge.
• The project will maintain a minimum of one lane of US 51 in each direction and maintain at least one lane of traffic on the side street during construction. Lane width restrictions in the work zone will be posted as maximum 10 foot.
