Project update

• Remainder of the week June 17-19: The contractor is not working today due to the rain. They will continue tomorrow with placing aggregate, and this will be the focus for the rest of the week to start getting ready for concrete placement. There is a little excavation left, but mostly rock placement for the rest of the week. Expect a lot of trucks entering and leaving the project.
• Week of June 22th – Crews will finish up placing aggregates and concrete crews will be in later in the week to start working on curb & gutter installation in the roundabout areas.

Stage 2 Notes:

With concrete work approaching, expect a large number of slow-moving vehicles around the project site as they maneuver to safely access the site without damaging any fresh concrete work.

With the heavy rains last week, numerous potholes have appeared and the crew did work late last week to fill them. With the rain today, we are expecting it will cause more to surface. The crew will review and fill any that surface in the morning.

Exchange St is CLOSED till late July or early August. Please plan to use alternate routes.

There may be 1 additional overnight closure of USH 51 during stage 2. This will be communicated at a later date if needed.
