Traffic impacts

Stage 2b: Current stage

Location: US 51 southbound, southbound bridge over Taylor Road and Sigglekow Road.

Traffic:

US 51 on existing northbound.
Taylor Road will be open through traffic.
Sigglekow Road, as well as both northbound ramps and the southbound on-ramp at Sigglekow Road will be closed.
The southbound off-ramp to eastbound Sigglekow Road will remain open through the entire stage.
Taylor Rd. is open to local through traffic. Please be aware that the north and south sides of Taylor Rd. will remain an active work zone until approximately mid-July 2025.
The Lower Yahara River Trail remains detoured. Please follow the signs that indicate the current detour route for the trail.
Pedestrian and multi-use accommodations have been adjusted to allow for the Siggelkow Rd. construction. Pedestrian routes on Siggelkow Rd. (between Terminal Dr. and Triangle St./Paulson Rd.) are delineated with detour signs and temporary pedestrian
barricades.
Stage 2b is currently scheduled between mid-April to early August 2025.

Stage 2C: Upcoming Stage is anticipated to begin approximately early August 2025.

Traffic on US 51 during Stage 2C will remain in its current configuration.
The US 51 northbound exit and entrance ramp and southbound entrance ramp at the
Siggelkow Rd. interchange will remain closed.
The US 51 southbound exit ramp at the Siggelkow Rd. interchange will be open for
southbound US 51 traffic that would like to travel east or west on Siggelkow Rd.
Siggelkow Rd. will reopen to eastbound local through traffic however,
Siggelkow Rd. will remain closed to westbound through traffic between (between
Terminal Dr. and Paulson Rd./Triangle St.).
