Schedule: March 30, 2026 to November 2026

Anticipated work scheduled: Crews will:

• Install inlets and surface drains on the WIS 54 Westbound Lanes.
• Replace curb and gutter at the various inlet work locations along US 45.
• Continue the excavation and construction of concrete approach slabs for the US 45 structures.
• Install cross drains within the roundabout.
• Begin removing the existing US 45 asphalt from County D south to WIS 54 Interchange.
• Begin grading for the guardrail terminals for the US 45 structures.

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• WIS 54 is reduced to one lane in each direction from Jeanne Street to House Road. Both eastbound and westbound WIS 54 traffic is shifted to the south half of the roadway from North Shawano Drive to House Road.
• US 45 is closed to through traffic and is detoured for approximately four months through July 2026. Traffic is detoured via US 10 and WIS 22. Access to residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles will be maintained during construction.
  • Access to County D at the south limits will remain open to traffic at this time as the closure will be just north of that intersection of County D and US 45.
  • Access to Church Road at the north limits will remain open to traffic at this time as the closure will be just south of that intersection of Church Road and US 45
