Schedule: March 30, 2026 to November 2026

Anticipated work scheduled: A construction information meeting for this project has been rescheduled for March 19 at 6 pm at the New London Municipal Building.

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• US 45 will be closed to traffic with a detour route. The detour will follow US 10 and WIS 22 for both northbound and southbound traffic. At the south limits of the US 45 project access to County D (South) will be maintained, except for a 10-day closure to construct that section of US 45. WIS 15 traffic crossing US 45 will be maintained, except for a 5-day closure to construct that section of US 45.
• WIS 54 will remain open to traffic but reduced to two-way traffic on either side of the median. The County D intersection work will be staged with temporary traffic signals. The north and south legs of the County D/North Shawano Street intersection will each have a one-month closure to construct the intersection. During these times WIS 54 will remain open and this work will not begin until US 45 is reopened.
