US 18 and WIS 23 intersections will have lane closures

Current Construction Operations (Week of 5/4/2026):

Pavement sawing within the east and west medians of US 18 at both intersections, at the north and south medians of Johns St, and the NE/SE sidewalk quadrants of Johns St was completed
Pavement and curb & gutter removal within the medians/left turn lanes of US 18 at both intersections
Base aggregate placement within the medians/left turn lanes of US 18 at both intersections
Storm sewer removal/install within the medians of US 18 at both intersections
No work anticipated over weekend (5/9/26 – 5/10/26)

Upcoming Construction Operations (Week of 5/11/2026):

Pavement/Curb & gutter removal, base aggregate placement, and storm sewer removal/install to continue
Concrete pavement and curb & gutter to be poured towards the end of the week
No work anticipated over weekend (5/16/26 – 5/17/26)

Current Traffic Information:

The inside lane and left turn lanes of US 18 will continue to be closed to traffic to allow for stage 1 construction operations. This closure will be continuous and last until the completion of stage 1 which is tentatively scheduled through 5/22/26.
