Motorists will encounter single-lane closures on US 12 and WIS 40 controlled by flagging from Elk Mound through Colfax

• Flagging will be done using automated flagger assistance devices.
• In addition:
  • The bridge on WIS 40 south of the WIS 170 intersection is restricted to a single-lane of traffic – with a maximum width of 12 feet — controlled by temporary traffic signals.
  • There are shoulder and parking lane closures through Colfax.
  • Temporary crossings are shifting pedestrians to the east and south side of WIS 40.
