Construction on the resurfacing project includes:

• Milling off part of the existing pavement
• Paving new asphalt pavement

Construction on the safety improvement project includes:

• Realigning the left-turn lanes on all approaches to the intersection of US 12, WIS 25 North and Pine Avenue East to improve motorists’ visibility
• Realigning the eastbound right-turn lane on US 12 to southbound WIS 25 North to improve the viewing angle for drivers and the southbound right-turn lane on WIS 25 North to US 12 to improve truck turning movements
• Installing monotube traffic signal equipment at the intersection to increase signal head visibility
• Constructing a raised median along US 12
• Replacing the concrete on US 12 on the west leg of the intersection
• Milling and overlaying Pine Avenue East on the east leg of the intersection

Construction on both projects includes:

• Updating sidewalk curb ramps
• Placing new pavement markings
• Replacing signage
