WIS 46 will remain open to traffic throughout most of construction; however, a DETOUR will be required for part of the work.

• During construction near Lykens Lake, WIS 46 will be closed from approximately June 8 through July 8, and traffic will be detoured via US 8 and WIS 35. (See Map for a visual of the route.)
• For other work, motorists can expect the following impacts:
  • Single-lane closures controlled by flagging operations during normal construction hours.
  • Access to be maintained to businesses, fields and residences.
  • In the village of Balsam Lake:
    • Parking will be limited at times during active construction in the parking lanes.
    • Accommodations will be made for pedestrians when curb ramp replacements are occurring.
