The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is replacing the bridge that carries 50th Avenue over WIS 29 east of Chippewa Falls. In a separate project sponsored by Chippewa County and the town of Lafayette, a roundabout is being constructed at the County J and 50th Avenue intersection.
