Scheduled traffic impacts week of September 1 for highway maintenance

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region provides a weekly list of expected upcoming traffic impacts for maintenance work on state highways in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance is provided by county highway department crews or WisDOT Bureau of Structures bridge experts. Maintenance operation schedules can change due to weather and maintenance crew manpower. Check back often for schedule and traffic impact updates throughout the week.

SB=Southbound NB=Northbound EB=Eastbound WB=Westbound

Manitowoc County

• Maintenance crews will be painting girders on NB and SB I-43 at Fischerville Road, daily,  Tuesday, September 2 through Thursday, September 4 from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.

Marinette County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB US 141 from the south county line to WIS 64, daily, Monday, September 1 to Thursday, September 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.  A lane closure will be used during repairs.

Oconto County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB US 41 between Woodview Road and County A on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.

Sheboygan County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB/SB I-43 between the north and south county lines on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. A moving lane closure will be used during repairs.

Winnebago County (FULL CLOSURE)

• Maintenance crews will be repairing a culvert on EB/WB WIS 21 at Rushford Avenue beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, September 8 to noon, Friday, September 12. A full closure will be used during repairs.
  • EB WIS 21 detour is to use County K, County E and WIS 116.
  • WB WIS 21 detour is to use WIS 116, County E and County K
