Scheduled traffic impacts week of October 20 for highway maintenance

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region provides a weekly list of expected upcoming traffic impacts for maintenance work on state highways in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance is provided by county highway department crews or WisDOT Bureau of Structures bridge experts. Maintenance operation schedules can change due to weather and maintenance crew manpower. Check back often for schedule and traffic impact updates throughout the week.

SB=Southbound NB=Northbound EB=Eastbound WB=Westbound

Brown County

• Maintenance crews will have routine bridge repairs on NB I-43 (Leo Frigo Bridge), daily, Monday, October 20 to Thursday, October 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing barrier wall on NB and SB I-41 between Larry Lane and Scheuring Road on Monday, October 20 through Friday, October 24 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing railroad crossing on EB and WB WIS 29 between Wall Street and Manitowoc Road beginning at 2 a.m., Monday, October 13 through 6 p.m., Saturday, October 18. The road will be closed during the railroad repairs.
  • Detour: County EA to County V/Mason Street
• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on EB WIS 172 on Tuesday, October 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on EB WIS 29 on Monday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be polyjacking on SB WIS 54/57 between Bay Settlement Road and County A on Wednesday, October 22 from noon to 3 p.m.  A moving lane closure will be used during repairs.

Fond du Lac County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB US 151 at Martin Road on Monday, October 20 through 4 p.m., Friday, October 24. A lane closure will be used during repairs.

Manitowoc County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB I-43 between the south county line and WIS 310, daily, Monday, October 20 through Thursday, October 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A moving lane closure will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be polyjacking on NB I-43 at Devils River Bridge on Wednesday, October 22 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  A lane closure will be used during repairs.

Marinette County

• Maintenance crews will be working on bridge approaches on NB and SB US 141 between County B and WIS 64, daily, Monday, October 20 through Thursday, October 23 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be working on bridge approaches on NB and SB US 41 between County Y and Schacht Road, daily, Monday, October 20 through Thursday, October 23 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.

Sheboygan County

• Maintenance crews will be inspecting a sign structure on SB I-43 at Mueller Road on Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 from 8 a.m. to noon. A lane closure will be used during inspection.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on NB I-43 north of WIS 23 and at WIS 28, daily, Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.
