Scheduled traffic impacts week of March 31 for highway maintenance

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region provides a weekly list of expected, upcoming traffic impacts for maintenance work on state highways in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance is provided by county highway department crews or WisDOT Bureau of Structures bridge experts. Maintenance operation schedules can change due to weather and maintenance crew manpower. Check back often for schedule and traffic impact updates throughout the week.

SB=Southbound NB=Northbound EB=Eastbound WB=Westbound

Brown County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on SB WIS 57 at Gravel Pit Road on Thursday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. A lane will be closed during repairs.

• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on SB I-43 on Friday, April 4 from 2 to 6 a.m. A lane will be closed during repairs.

Fond du Lac County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB I-41 between the north county line and County D, nightly, Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 4 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.

Manitowoc County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB I-43 between County Line Road and County K, daily, Monday, March 31 to Thursday, April 10 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. A moving lane closure will be used during repairs.

Sheboygan County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on WB WIS 23 between Ridge Road and County A, daily, Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. A lane will be closed during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard at the following locations Monday, March 31 through Thursday, April 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
  • NB I-43 at Wilson Lima Road
  • NB and SB I-43 at Weeden Creek Road
  • NB I-43 between WIS 28 and County PP
  • Various lanes will be closed during repairs.
• Utility crews will be moving utilities on WIS 32 in the village of Cedar Grove between S. Commerce St. and Willow Avenue from March 17 to mid-April 2025 (weather depending). Portions of WIS 32 in Cedar Gove will be closed and detoured to semi-trucks and busses. The roadway is open to local traffic. Semis and busses will be detoured onto I-43 and County AA.
