Scheduled traffic impacts week of June 22 for highway maintenance

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region provides a weekly list of expected upcoming traffic impacts for maintenance work on state highways in Northeast Wisconsin and maintenance/inspections on the state’s lift bridges. Maintenance is provided by county highway department crews or WisDOT Bureau of Structures bridge experts. Maintenance operation schedules can change due to weather and maintenance crew manpower. Check back often for schedule and traffic impact updates throughout the week.

Northeast Wisconsin Lift Bridge 2026 Routine Maintenance and Inspections

Bridge engineers and maintenance crews will conduct routine maintenance and inspection of the following lift bridges in Northeast Wisconsin. Work typically includes inspection of the electrical, mechanical, and hydrological systems, along with structural inspections of the infrastructure. Crews will also conduct bridge washing during the annual bridge maintenance. Highway maintenance

Brown County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB I-41 between Hansen Road and Parkview Road on Thursday, June 25 from 1 to 5 a.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.

Fond du Lac County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB US 151 at Rienzi Road beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, June 22 to 4 p.m., Thursday, June 25. A continuous lane closure will be used during repairs.

Marinette County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing beam guard on NB and SB US 41 between Flame Road and County Y, daily, Monday, June 22 to Thursday, June 25 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.

Outagamie County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB I-41 between WIS 125 and the south county line on Thursday, June 25 from 7 p.m. to midnight. A moving lane closure will be used during repairs.

Sheboygan County

• Maintenance crews will have vegetation work on EB and WB WIS 23 between the west county line and Taylor Drive on Tuesday, June 23 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.  A moving lane closure will be used during spraying.
• Maintenance crews will have overhead electrical work on NB and SB 1-43 at WIS 23 on Tuesday, June 23 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. A rolling closure will be used during repairs.
