I-94 bridge rehabilitation at Union Pacific Railroad near the WIS 26 interchange

  • Nightly lane closures to construct the temporary widening for staged construction.
  • Each bridge requires three stages to replace the expansion joints that use temporary precast barrier wall and crash cushions to delineate the work zone.
    • The middle stage requires Interstate traffic to be split at the bridges with width restrictions.
  • No speed reduction will be used for this work, only 60 mph warning signs before the lane shifts.

High tension cable guard near Rest Area 13 east of Lake Mills and east of Johnson Creek
