Anticipated work scheduled: Crews will:

• Repair concrete pavement
• Perform grading work
• Pave asphalt
• Restore landscaping
• Install new guardrail
• Set up traffic control

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days): 

• The WIS 29 eastbound to US 51 southbound will continue to have a single-lane closure
• All the other lanes and ramps in the US 51/WIS 29 corridor will be open for the holiday weekend.
• Starting July 6, various lane closures will occur along US 51 northbound and US 51 southbound.
  • The system interchange ramps of WIS 29 eastbound to US 51 northbound and US 51 northbound to WIS 29 westbound will be closed for approximately 14 days.
  • The service ramp from Sherman Street to US 51 southbound will be closed for approximately 40 days.
• Starting July 8, the service ramp from US 51 southbound to Bridge Street will be closed for approximately 14 days.
