This WisDOT project will resurface and make improvements to approximately 1.21 miles of WIS 20 (North Street), between Townline Road and Edwards Street, in the village of East Troy, Walworth County.

Improvements:

• Resurface WIS 20 (North Street) within the project limits
• New signing and pavement marking
• Improve drainage at the intersection of Thomas Drive and WIS 20 (North Street)

Traffic Impacts:

Construction will be completed in two stages:

• Stage 1: Traffic will be maintained on WIS 20 (North Street)
• Stage 2: Traffic will be detoured during paving operations. Detour will utilize County ES (Main Street) and County N

Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.

Public Involvement:

WisDOT will be hosting an in-person construction kickoff meeting for this project. Meeting details below:

• Where: Village of East Troy Municipal Building (2015 Energy Drive, East Troy, WI 53120)
• When: Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

This will be an open house style meeting with no official presentation. Meet with project staff and get your construction questions answered!

Schedule:

Construction is scheduled to begin June 8, 2026, and be completed by late summer 2026.
