This project will add new cable barrier along WIS 16 from WIS 190 (Captiol Drive) to approximately 5,800 feet west of WIS 83, Waukesha County.

Improvements:

• New median cable barrier along entire project limits
• Removal of two maintenance crossover to improve safety
• Pavement marking

Traffic Impacts:

Shoulder closures are anticipated for the duration of project. Single lane closures during off-peak hours. No detours will be required.

Schedule:

Work is anticipated to begin in early April 2024. Work is scheduled for completion in summer 2024. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
