This potion of the project will resurface and make various improvements to approximately four (4) miles of WIS 164, from Swan Road in Pewaukee to and VV (Main Street) in Sussex.

Improvements:

• Mill and resurface the existing pavement with two layers of new asphalt.
• Update curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
• Replace signals at Swan Road, Lisbon Road, and Silver Spring Drive.

Traffic Impacts:

WIS 164 will remain open to one lane of traffic in both directions.

Short-term closures are anticipated at major intersections for resurfacing work.

Short-term side road closures during paving operations

Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.

Schedule:

This portion of the project will be completed in two segments. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2026.

• First segment: Swan Road to just south of County K (Lisbon Road): scheduled completion by late fall 2026.
• Second segment: County K (Lisbon Road) to County VV (Main Street): Scheduled completion by fall 2027.
