US 12 Resurfacing (County P to WIS 20/WIS 67)

Walworth County

Weekly Project Updates

May 9 Update:

The concrete crews completed their work at County H and the east end medians on US 12. Also, the culvert crossings were patched so there shouldn’t be any more large bumps along US 12.

The milling crews arrive on Monday to start removing the top 3-inches of pavement for the travel lanes on US 12. We will remove the top pavement on the shoulders at a later date. The asphalt pavers are expected to be on site beginning Wednesday or Thursday with both the milling and paving operations ongoing for the foreseeable future (probably until July). These operations will utilize flaggers to keep vehicles moving along US 12.
