March 27 Update:

Work is starting up tomorrow (3/28) on the US 12 project between County P and WIS 20/67 just east of Whitewater with US 12 closing to local traffic only.

Operations:

1. Work on replacing the culvert between Jackson Road and County H. This will be 2-3 weeks depending on weather and if we run into any other issues.
2. Remove stumps and other project items.
3. Set up traffic control

US 12 (From Whitewater)

Traffic:

1. Local Traffic Only: Area between County P and Jackson Road will be open to local traffic only, including the Ice Age Trail Parking Lot
2. If traveling to Elkhorn and beyond, use the posted detour – County P to County A, County A to County ES, County ES back to US 12.

US 12 (From Elkhorn)

Traffic:

1. Local Traffic Only: Area between WIS 20/67 to just west of County H will be open to local traffic only.
2. If traveling to Whitewater, use the posed detour – County ES to County A, County A to County P, County P back to US 12.

WIS 67/WIS 20 will be open so follow US 12 north to WIS 67/WIS 20 and go north or east as needed.
