Construction consists of:

• Milling a portion of the existing pavement; mixing the millings with emulsion, rejuvenating agents and additives; relaying it; and then completing a chip and fog seal of the roadway
• Installing centerline rumble strips
• Placing pavement markings

Culvert and bridge work on this stretch was completed in 2024.
