The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will replace the WIS 44 bridge over the Fox River located in Columbia County.

Proposed project details:

• Replace twin 12-foot x 7.5-foot culvert pipes with a 70-foot 2-span flat slab bridge
• Replace roadway pavement 500 feet on each side of the structure
• Raise the roadway profile approximately one foot
• Replace and upgrade the guardrail
