WIS 36 (Loomis Road), from Racine County Y to WIS 100

Improvements

• Reconstruction of WIS 36 between Champions Drive and US 45/County OO.
• Resurfacing or base patching on the remainder of WIS 36 within the project limits
• Resurfacing of US 45/County OO near WIS 36

Purpose/Need

Built in 1997, this roadway is in need of maintenance to extend its service life. The segment from Champions Drive to US 45/County OO is being reconstructed because the roadway has settled

Schedule

Early July 2016 to winter shutdown. Recommences April 3, 2017 to spring 2017 completion.

Traffic impacts

Long-term, single lane closures will be in effect near the WIS 36 and Champions Drive Intersection.  Short-term, intermittent lane closure will occur throughout the project limits.
