During construction, WIS 35 and 54 will remain open to traffic.

• Initially, no traffic impacts are anticipated as the contractor plans to start work in Fountain City working on sidewalks and curb ramps.
• Once paving begins in May, motorists will encounter lane closures on both projects during work hours.
  • Both highways will be reopened to two lanes of traffic during nonworking hours.
  • The milling, paving and shouldering work on WIS 54 will be completed during off-peak travel times.
• Access to properties within the work zones will be maintained.
  • If temporary closures are needed, the contractor will contact property owners prior to closing an access.
