This safety project includes reconstructing the intersection of WIS 34 and County Road DB/Old 51 in the town of Knowlton, Marathon county. The existing intersection has experienced a significant amount of angle crashes with severe injuries, which may be attributed to the existing horizontal curve on the western approach and the substandard intersection skew angle of 61 degrees.
