  • May 23, 2016 through October 21, 2016 – Construction anticipated

Traffic impacts/detours

  • Stage 1 – will include construction of temporary traffic signals and removal of the existing traffic signals at the intersection of Centerway, E. Memorial Drive, Mount Zion Avenue, Black Bridge Road and Kennedy/Randolph Road with WIS 26. Short-term, single lane, temporary closures will be used to complete installation of the temporary signals.
  • Stage 2 – will close the northbound and southbound inside lanes of WIS 26 from Centerway to Mount Zion Avenue and the northbound and southbound inside lanes of WIS 26 from Mount Zion Avenue to Kennedy/Randolph Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single travel lane northbound and southbound in the outside lanes.
  • Stage 3 – will close the southbound lanes of WIS 26 from Centerway to Mount Zion Avenue and the northbound and southbound inside lanes of WIS 26 from Mount Zion Avenue to Kennedy/Randolph Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single travel lane in each direction on the northbound lanes of WIS 26 from Centerway to Mount Zion Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single travel lane northbound and southbound in the outside lanes of WIS 26 from Mount Zion Road to north of Kennedy/Randolph Road.
  • Stage 4 – will close the northbound lanes of WIS 26 from Centerway to Mount Zion Avenue and the outside northbound and southbound lanes of WIS 26 from Mount Zion Avenue to Kennedy/Randolph Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single travel lane in each direction on the southbound lanes of WIS 26 from Centerway to Mount Zion Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single travel lane northbound and southbound in the inside lanes of WIS 26 from Mount Zion Road to north of Kennedy/Randolph Road.
  • Stage 5 – will be completion of the permanent traffic signals and removal of the temporary traffic signals. Short-term, single lane, temporary closures will be used to complete installation of the permanent traffic signals and removal of the temporary signals.
