Project Overview
The main purpose of this project is to:
- Address the existing asphalt pavement by pulverizing and relaying the existing asphalt and placing 5.75 inches of new asphalt on top.
- Improving the sight distance and safety at the intersection of County B at WIS 21 by lowering the roadway and cutting into the hill west of County B.
- Roadside grading will be completed along the entire project to accommodate the raise in the roadway elevation.
- The shoulders will be widening to 8-feet of which includes a 6-foot paved shoulder from Coloma to County B, and a 3-foot paved shoulder from County B to Wautoma.
- Guardrail will be replaced or removed.
- Curb and gutter will be replaced at sideroad intersections with WIS 21.
- Box culverts will be installed to replace the existing steel pipe arch culverts at the West branch of Little Pine Creek and Lunch Creek crossings.
- Replace or extend the culverts under WIS 21 and replacement of all sideroad and driveway culverts along WIS 21.
- Install new pavement marking, signs, and centerline rumble strips.
