Safety improvements along approximately two miles of WIS 19 between WIS 113 and River Road in the Town of Westport. This project is funded by the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) due to the high rate of lane departure crashes, particularly during snowy/icy/wet road conditions. Improvements include:

• Widening the paved shoulder
• Installing shoulder rumble strips
• Installing snow fence along the north side of the S-curve
• Adding a friction surface treatment throughout the S-curve
• Installing curve signs
