Anticipated work scheduled: Crews will:

• Continue installing erosion control and landscaping.
• Excavate/fill between Firekeeper Road and Indian Drive.
• Construct the new pedestrian box culvert will continue.
• Work on watermain and sewer will continue west of Kwe Da Kik Lane.
• Install cross culvert
• Continue building the phase 2 trail
• Install temporary pedestrian facilities in Crandon

Traffic impacts (the next 10 days):

• US 8 is closed to thru traffic from the intersection of WIS 55/WIS 32/US 8 in Crandon to the intersection of WIS 32/US 8 in Laona until Friday, Oct. 17
• No public traffic access from Firekeeper Road to just east of Indian Drive including the intersection of Kwe Da Kik Lane and Youngs Lane
• Traffic will encounter shoulder closures and flaggers at various times throughout the project limits listed above through Oct. 31.
• Temporary pedestrian facilities and a lane shift will be installed in Crandon.
