During construction, US 53 (East 2nd Street) will remain to traffic, but motorists will encounter:

• Single-lane closures for most work
• Blatnik Bridge ramp closures during the overlaying of the ramps
  • Short-term detours will be in place during ramp work.
• During work on the E Street safety improvement project, Lenroot Drive will be closed to through traffic for a portion of the work, but access will be maintained to businesses.
