US 53 remains open to traffic, but motorists are expected to encounter lane closures in each direction where crews are working during non-peak travel times.

• The northbound US 53 off-ramp and southbound US 53 on-ramp at WIS 312 will be closed to traffic starting at 8 tonight (Friday, Aug. 8) for joint replacement. The ramps will be reopened by Saturday afternoon.
  • Traffic will be detoured via Melby Street and Business 53.
• Ramps at the US 53/WIS 29 interchange are tentatively scheduled to be closed to traffic for a week starting Monday, Aug. 18.
