US 53 remains open to traffic, but motorists are expected to encounter lane closures in each direction where crews are working during non-peak travel times.

• Most construction is being completed during nighttime hours, but some work will occur during the day and/or on weekends.
• The bridge carrying Melby Street over US 53 is closed to traffic.
  • During the closure, the interchange ramps will remain open, and bridge traffic will be detoured.
  • The bridge is anticipated to reopen to traffic July 21 at the earliest.
