Turtle Lake Roundabouts: US 8/US 63 North intersection and US 8/County K/Norway St. intersection in Turtle Lake, Barron County.

Overview

Both of these projects are Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) projects, each intersection having well documented crash histories, and each project having a goal of reducing the crash rate and crash severity at their respective intersection.

The overall goal of the project is to create better/safer mobility for vehicles and safer crossings for pedestrians. Improvements include the construction of modern roundabouts, additional sidewalks, and new street lighting.
