Construction includes:

• Performing a cold-in-place recycling of the pavement on the project corridor.
  • During cold-in-place recycling, a portion of the existing pavement is milled off, and the milled material is crushed, mixed with a stabilizing agent, paved back on the road and compacted. After it cures, a thin layer of asphalt is placed over the roadway.
• Installing rumble strips.
• Placing gravel on the shoulders.
• Replacing culvert pipes and guardrail.
• Placing pavement markings.
