The project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing the existing pavement with new asphalt from Short Road to the Fall Creek Bridge
• Widening paved shoulders from 3 feet to 5 feet
• Installing shoulder and centerline rumble strips to enhance driver safety
• Repairing or replacing aging culverts and cattle passes
• Upgrading guardrail throughout the project
• Improving drainage by grading ditches at key locations:
  • South of US 12 near Schultz Road
  • South of US 12 west of Oak Knoll Road
  • West of the Fall Creek Bridge (approximately 500 feet)
• Installing new pavement markings throughout the corrdior
• Clearing trees from a 500-foot segment between Voight and Oak Knoll roads after an environmental clearance window opens after Oct. 31
