The City of Milwaukee, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), plans to rebuild 2.6-miles of W. National Avenue (WIS 59) between S. 39th and S. 1st streets. The proposed rebuild consists of improving safety measures for all modes of transportation, including walking and biking.
