Weekly update

Current Construction Operations:

  • Nightly Lane closures will occur on I-90/94 WB and EB between US 12 and WIS 23 from Sunday night to Thursday night. Lanes will be reopened in the AM. Work includes sawing and concrete patching.
    • Ramps on I-90/94 to/from WIS 23, WIS 13, and US 12 may be closed during this overnight period to facilitate this work. A max of 2 ramps may be closed at any given time. Detours will be provided with advance warning of ramp closures to guide motorists.
  • WIS 23 pavement will be milled and repaved with asphalt. Single lane closures on WIS 23 WB & EB will be utilized as well as flagging for the entire week.

 

Upcoming Construction Operations (Week of 6/16/2025):

    • WB I-90/94 on ramp from WIS 23 will be closed from 6AM Tuesday 6/17 to 6AM Wednesday 6/18.
    • EB I-90/94 off ramp to WIS 23 will be closed from 6AM Tuesday 6/17 to 6AM Wednesday 6/18.
    • EB I-90/94 on ramp from WIS 23 will be closed from 6AM Wednesday 6/18 to 6AM Thursday 6/19.
    • WB I-90/94 off ramp to WIS 23 will be closed from 6AM Wednesday 6/18 to 6AM Thursday 6/19.
    • All other intersections will remain open with interruptions in access as the milling and paving operation moves through each intersection.
  • US 12 (Rocky Arbor Exit) ramps will be milled and repaved. The following ramp closures will occur:
    • WB I- 90/94 off ramp to US 12 and on ramp from US 12 (Exit 85) will be closed from 6AM Thursday 6/19 to 6AM Friday 6/20.
    • EB I-90/94 off ramp to US 12 and on ramp from USH 12 (Exit 85) will be closed from 6AM Friday 6/20 to 6AM Saturday 6/21.

Local Business Access:

  • As a general reminder, all businesses along the corridor, or adjacent to the corridor are still open and greatly appreciate your business, especially during construction when the route to the businesses may have changed.
  • Business owners are encouraged to use these updates to inform their customers about changes to the traffic patterns and how best to access their business.

Traffic impacts

During construction motorists can expect short term lane closures and night work on the interstate. Construction on interchange ramps will be completed under flagging operations and short-term closures.
