Phase 1 of this project was completed in 2022 between WIS 140 and East Rock County Line.

Traffic impacts

During construction, traffic will be managed using two‐way traffic on one side of the divided interstate.

• All ramps will have short-term closures at the WIS 140 interchange with only two ramps closed at a time.
• The northbound on‐ramp and southbound off‐ramp will have short-term closures at the County X/Hart Road interchange.
  • A detour will be in place during these closures.
