Crews will resurface the highway, repair and replace culverts, replace guardrail, reconstruct portions of the pavement along County E/J at the I-39 interchange, replace pavement and curb ramps at Rest Area 81, install lighting enhancements at Rest Area 81, construct drainage improvements at Rest Area 82 and replace pavement markings.

Construction on I-39 is scheduled be completed by mid-November 2026. Construction on County E/J and Rest Areas 81 and 82 is scheduled for Spring 2027, with completion anticipated by mid-August 2027. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
